The first question we ask ourselves at Earlsheaton Technology College is “How can we become better?”

We don’t settle for second best from anyone - we want everybody, students and staff alike, to aim to be the very best they can, working hard and soaking up new knowledge and experiences in pursuit of their personal goals.

Key to this success is our desire to “think big” - to achieve not just what you know you’re capable of, but the things you dream of doing. Our increasingly good GCSE results show that we’ve successfully encouraged students to think harder about their futures and helped them to get the qualifications they need to fulfil their potential.

We are proud to say that Earlsheaton is a school different from all the rest - because the people inside it are all individuals with their own hopes and talents. Serving a diverse community, we recognise the benefits that such variety brings to our school family, and strive to help each person follow their own instinctive path.

Teachers, parents and students now have easy access to live school information and learning resources online via the Learning Gateway

Parents can view timetables, school events calendars and notices, and have secure access to their child’s test results and progress reports. They can see how their child is doing, and whether they might need extra help. They will be able to see daily attendance records, and check that their child has arrived safely at school and attended lessons.

School pupils will have a secure online portal to their test results, lesson times, attendance and learning materials.

Teachers will have greater access to pupil information outside of school and they will be able to complete reports and lesson plans.
