Assistant Subject Leader of Mathematics

Scale: MPS + TLR2B

The governors of this 11-16 co-educational comprehensive school wish to appoint an enthusiastic, inspiring and ambitious Assistant Subject Leader of Mathematics from Easter 2012.

The successful applicant will have

• a proven record of pupils achieving excellent GCSE results + 3 levels of progress
• a passion for learning and high quality teaching
• commitment to developing the potential of all students
• energy, charisma and a sense of humour
• a willingness to develop and learn

Potential and commitment are as important as experience in the department, which has achieved much but seeks continuing improvement for the benefit of all.
Experience in inspiring low ability learners and high ability accelerated classes would also be an advantage.
