Welcome to our Community Web-page. My name is Linda Crayton and I am the Community Development Worker for Earlsheaton Technology College.
A major part of my role within the school is to encourage parents and members of the wider community to expand the services running at ETC for pupils and adults.
We made huge progress during the last year with new courses added and great achievements from those who were involved. I would like to hear from anyone with ideas on how we can continue to improve the quality and range of groups, services and courses currently on offer.

A huge thank you goes to all our volunteers for all their hard work and invaluable help with Reading Matters. Gredit Union. Sewing and Gardening. Without the volunteers these schemes would not be happening. We are always looking for more volunteers to help out with all kinds of jobs – please give me a call.
Do you have a skill or talent that you could teach others? You may have skills that could be used to expand the learning on offer to ETC young people. Perhaps you work within a local business and think you may be able to:
- Expand lessons by adding enterprise expertise
- Pass on skills to our young people
- Join our mentorship scheme
- Give our pupils interview experience
